The Bury Business Curry Club was inspired by the sponsors own experience of other networking events and the desire to bring together local like minded business people together in a more relaxed informal atmosphere than many other networking organisations. In collaboration the main sponsors of this event are ABILAS Computer Services, Clough and Willis Solicitors and The Property Search Group (PSG). All locally based and highly respected businesses with a wealth of experience in their own fields and business networking
They have organised these monthly ‘not for profit’ events which are to be hosted by the award winning Jewel In the Crown Indian restaurant in order to bring together local like minded business people to network in a relaxed informal atmosphere with no membership fees, no ’60 second’ speeches and no ‘hard sell’ Just good food, good company and the possibility of creating new business relationships as well as cementing existing ones, not to mention the fantastic authentic Indian cuisine!
The initial launch was a lunch time event on Tuesday 1st December 2009 which was from 12:00noon til 3:00pm. There after it is the intention of the organisers to hold the Bury Business Curry Club on a monthly basis meeting in the evening after close of business on the first Tuesday of each month – 5-45pm for 6:30pm through to 9:00pm.
The intention is to meet up for 30 minutes or so to mingle and open network before taking our seats and enjoying the excellent food on offer.
The menu will be a set menu with starters, curries, to include a vegetarian option, along with rice and Naan breads.
Individuals will have opportunities to ‘sponsor’ an event by offering a Business card draw prize and then have an opportunity of spending a minute or two explaining about their own business to the group.
The event is in its infancy and any ideas or suggestions from our guests to improve the club would be very much appreciated.
The organisers very much look forward to welcoming you at the next event…
